Let me just say.
Yes women of colour can wear bright lip colours!!
DID I YELL THAT LOUD ENOUGH FOR YOU TO HEAR?
We can wear bright lips, but, and yes there's a big but, we need to learn how.
A bright lip no matter the colour of your skin does not look good on its own " my opinion" To make it work as a dark skinned diva you need to learn two words.... LIP LINERS...
Many of us don't like to use lip liners because we find there is no need for it, however I assure you that the brightest toned lipstick can look awesome with just a deeper toned lip liner and most importantly blend them together.
Nothing, and I do mean nothing gives the wow factor on our dark, smooth, exotic, sultry skin than a pop of colour.
So Divas go forth and makeup with those bold sexy lips..
