Black youtubers who are on the come-up. We were placed into smaller
groups and given a colour code.
The group that I am in is called the"
green team" and we have all decided that we would do a green "anything"

time let's talk about those bright colours that we add to our hair, umm
hmmm, yup. Those reds greens and blues. I am known as the queen of
colour as I am most often than not I'm seen with a different colour in
my hair every other month.

No, no, no your skin tone does not go well with a bright lip colour...
All things that Women of colour have heard before and all things that some women of colour have tend to agree with.
Let me just say. Yes women of colour can wear bright lip colours!! DID I YELL THAT LOUD ENOUGH FOR YOU TO HEAR?
We can wear bright lips, but, and yes there's a big but, we need to learn how.
A bright lip no matter the colour of your skin does not look good on its own " my opinion" To make it work as a dark skinned diva you need to learn two words.... LIP LINERS...
Many of us don't like to use lip liners because we find there is no need for it, however I assure you that the brightest toned lipstick can look awesome with just a deeper toned lip liner and most importantly blend them together. Nothing, and I do mean nothing gives the wow factor on our dark, smooth, exotic, sultry skin than a pop of colour. So Divas go forth and makeup with those bold sexy lips.. I know I do!!! Muah! Quite often as a beauty vlogger / blogger I am asked about contouring. What is it, how do you do it and is it necessary? It is my hope that this blog puts all the questions to rest.
Simply put. Contouring is using either a darker shade of powder or liquid makeup much darker than your skin tone and is used to shade or make darker particular parts of the face that you want to be less visible / blurred / not focused on.
Example: I have a round face with a little extra skin under my chin. Once I contour this, my face then tends to appear more oval in shape and my extra skin a little less noticeable.
I should state though, that contouring was created and made popular by men in drag "Drag Queens" it is done to make their facial features appear softer, more feminine. So please note that you need to be careful with contouring because if it is done too harshly you can look very scary.
That being said, Yes one should contour is you want your features to be enhanced but beware of a heavy hand.
