Let's talk facial masks, what are they and what are the benefits of them?

This mask is a moisturizing mask, comes in a pack "pre folded"



It is loaded with all that yummy goodness that your face will thank you for after. It leaves your face moist and very refreshed. The pre folded packaged mask is a piece of thin cotton cloth with eye and mouth holes cut outs that comes pre-soaked in facial serum.
They have become very popular in the past year or so.

Benefits:
There are many brands and many different types of sheet masks targeting different skincare issues... anti-wrinkle, whitening/brightening, anti-acne, moisturizing, and so much more.

This other mask is the more traditional type of mask. It's a mud mask and these masks like the one above has many benefits as well.
 
The mud masks benefits are:
 
Exfoliation. Mud is naturally going to dry out once applied to your face and once you scrub it off it's not hard to see the results.
Moisturize. Mud is a deep moisturizer. It gets deep into pores and provides the right amount of moisture so that your face does not become too oily {excellent for people will oily skin.}
Blemishes. The mud actually helps reduce the redness. 

The difference between both masks is that one "pre folds" already comes in such a way that half of your work is done for you. The other "traditional" is that you get more than one use.

I like and use both and I hope that you would all consider them now as part of your daily beauty routine.

Whiter teeth at home without an expensive dentist Visit. CAN THIS BE Done

Yes it can be done with many things. 
However this product! 
I have found is not at all abrasive as many other whiteners out there.

CHEMICAL PEEL? BURN MY FACE? AWW HELL NAW!

Hey Divas! Ever heard of a Tca / Chemical peel? Yes, No?
I have, in fact I have had the  experience of going through the process

A "Chemical peel" can be a necessary evil in my (the) world of beauty.

So what is a chemical peel exactly? "chem·i·cal peel"

NOUN: "a beauty treatment that uses a chemical solution to remove the outer layers of skin on the face to reveal smooth new skin without lines or wrinkles."

Now that the technical/scientific info is out of the way let me just say. 
THAT .....LIQUID..... BURNT! 
Well, in all fairness it depends on the level of your pain threshold.

 
I decided to do this process at home, and got a rude awakening. I write rude meaning that the burning woke my butt the hell up lmbo.

I suggest though that if you even attempt this process that you garner as much knowledge as possible. Better yet go to a professional and get all the info that you need.I researched this chemical-peel process for over a year before I attempted to purchase the product and also before I had the courage to try this on my own.

  Knowing which peel and what percentage to use is THE MOST IMPORTANT KEY to doing this the right way.

I can honestly say that I love the way my skin feels and looks now and I will Definitely do it again.

Crochet Wig? What the huh?

Ever considered a Crochet Braid style? Heard of it?
What About a Crochet Wig?

Say it with me ladies "Crochet Braids"

Yes you read right Divas, we're off the topic of makeup for just a little bit and heading to another thing that is of beauty. Hair!

Crochet, when we think of this word we usually envisage as an elderly woman seen with some needles knitting a sweater? Right? 

Yea... You know that was what you thought (hahaha) but no, no, no ladies. 


Crochet braids is a protective style that has been around for a long time. 

 
It's simply a method of looping hair in and out of cornrows to form a style, a style which can be done with synthetic hair. 



By synthetic, I mean bulk (braiding) hair; ex, kanekalon, freetress-pre curled hair etc...

You can get any style that you desire; curly, straight and or wavy hairstyles, anything you want.


Crochet wigs however have only been around for three maybe four years and it is something that takes away the time of actually having the hair done on your head which can be time consuming but also very beautiful once done right!

How do I apply eyeliner? Will I poke my eyes out? Am I doing this right?

While having conversations with classmates a thought occurred to me.



The thought you ask?  Simply that  a lot of females really don't know how to use eyeliner or which ones would work best for them.

It is my hope that this video helps you with those concerns divas.

There are many ways in which ones eyes can be lined. The most common of which are:

 1. Liquid liner, the precision tool that has fast found it's way to the top most fashionista's makeup list. These are easy as they come.

2. Gel, often used with a very thin brush of the famed thin angled brush.

 3. The tale as old as time item. The pencil. Still widely used but often many are afraid of the power it wields.

It's all about colours:

1. For lips Deep plums or purple colour lipstick and lip liner. (You can do Matte or creamy)
2. Eyes / eye-shadows: gold, plum, purple. {Don't forget your eye-shadow base nor what you learned previously about blending your shadows} Line eyes.
3. Mascara {lashes are optional}
4. Blush completes a look (women of colour don't be afraid of it)

Oh my God Look at her Brows | Beat Eyebrows? Can I!! Hell yes you can

Ladies, ever been to an event and seen that one girl with (the) beat brows; you know brows on fleek and all you could do is wish that you were that good or that your brows were on Point as well?

Five Tips to your eyebrows being on Fleek.

Let's talk Brows, some love them drawn, some love them painted.

I love my brows drawn, however, I use a dip eye liner gel in deep dark brown.

This post is going to be a very short one in terms of words but you can look at the video below that would show you exactly what I use and how I use it.

Products that you'll need:

1. Any deep brown gel eyeliner "Black is too harsh, unless you're going for a vampy look." 
2. An angled makeup brush, (preferably one that is thin and not too thick.)
3. Brow sealer: This is optional but I prefer to use this because anything that isn't yours when sweating can come off.
4. A spooly: This looks like the brush of a mascara wand but is a tad bit longer and firmer.
5. Lastly, a canvas to work on i.e your face. hahaha
